Dr. Lou's certifications

Dr. Lou is Florida-certified as an Infant-Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS). She has taught ITDS courses for USF and was a national trainer with FSU, Center for Prevention and Early Intervention Policy and Partners for a Healthy Baby home visiting curriculum. Current certifications include Healthy Steps, Fussy Baby Network, Circle of Security and NICU Infant Touch from Dr. Tiffany Field with Touch Research Institute, University of Miami and School of Medicine. 

Dr. Lou directed a developmental screening project for Sarasota County, Florida and coached with the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota for 10 years on early identification, recognition and response for community childcare programs with a focus on infants and toddlers.  She also developed their STAR Babies Training Certification Program and still teaches childcare professionals on best practice for young children.
